To start, I’m a HUGE book lover and LOVE The Wheel of Time series. Just watching the previews, you know who each character is. The creative license taken, so far, has been very intelligent. Someone mentioned Perrin gaining a wife at the beginning. This answers easily the question of his KEY character flaw of being scared of hurting people as a gentle giant that he is. It was a brilliant way to create that depth of character with subtly without spending 5minutes in Dialogue. If you love the books so much that you want this to BE the books, do not watch, and actually don’t ever watch any rendition of this because you will always be disappointed short of 100 seasons, which will not happen. Hats off to the creative team and the actors, you aced it in your own way. I do have to say adding in the gender thing as five people was unnecessary. I’m a women, and RobertJordan has almost nothing but strong women in his story, adding in that it could be anyone when the prophecy is male, not needed. It’s not sexist on Robert Jordan’s part and wouldn’t have been on yours. But again applause for creative license, and you played that out well to show how strong Nyneave is while doing TONS of world building in scenes that never happened. I’m very happy with this over all.
