This is a masterpiece. A must-see movie.
I would rate it in the top 1% of any movie I have ever seen.
It is a cinematic triumph. Christopher Nolan
(who won the Golden Globe best director for it)
wrote and directed this masterpiece from the book, American Prometheus. I highly recommend reading the book before seeing the movie. It is the first time IMAX has been shot in black and white. The visuals are stunning….
A technological marvel.
The sound track, written by Ludwig Göransson,
is griping…breathtaking.
A perfect accompaniment for such a monumental work.
The story is compelling and….True.
This event changed the history of mankind.
It makes your hair stand on end when you realize the significance, the implications of this movie; especially during this divisive and uncertain time we are currently living through.
The making and release of this film is no accident.
It gives great pause regarding life’s continued existence on earth.
Cillian Murphy is an extraordinary actor.
I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. He draws you in as Oppenheimer. The supporting cast is some of the best in the industry. Standouts include - Florence Pugh. Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr.; have both been nominated for best supporting actor/actress. Downey won the Golden Globe.
Cillian Murphy won the GG for best actor.
I hope he wins the Oscar. He deserves it.
A career defining moment for all of them.
How lucky we are as a public to have such brilliance living among us.
As a sidenote, a reviewer who did not like this movie implied that the majority of the five star reviews were generated by AI. Trust me when I tell you, I am a living, breathing human being.
‘Nough said.
