I’m a huge fan of the original so I wanted to see it Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner style. Expecting to be disappointed, I left telling my husband “I may like this more.” The songs and dancing are still there but there is an authenticity in the language, in the actors, knowing that the Puerto RIcans were from PR, and Rita Moreno’s role. She is a gift. This movie was wonderful.
