This is a very powerful film with great acting by everyone. Somewhat dated now it still makes it point on the various lives that Gary Merrill touched. I've seen it many times and each time I am in tears from the people he volunteered to speak with about their loved ones . And Bette Davis who appears late in the film gives a touching performance as she always does and giving needed advice to Mr. Merrill so he returns to his heartbroken wife! You'll never ever see a film quite like this one again, I highly recommend it!

The musical Scrooge from 1970 is one of the greatest Christmas films of all time! Albert Finney does an outstanding job as does many of the other actors and actresses in this terrific masterpiece. The music is very moving and has an effect on the entire movie. The song Thank You Very Much was horribly overlooked at the academy awards ceremony and should have won Best Song of 1970! I urge anyone who has not seen this picture to do so immediately, and get as many young people interested in it too! Motion pictures will never be like this again especially when it comes to a musical, this is one to be remembered for a long time!

The greatest Western film ever made! The acting is first class, the scenery is wonderful and the music score is memorable and terrific! The Big Country should have won Best Picture of 1958 plus atleast 4 other awards. Thank goodness Burl Ives won best supporting actor for his amazing efforts because he stole the movie! I urge anyone who never saw this amazing film to do so asap, because you'll be thoroughly entertained beyond your wildest dreams! It's a 5 star movie with unusual stories, concerns and a very important message of survival and humanity!!!!!

One of the greatest early comedies of all time. Made Laurel and Hardy very famous and the story and acting and the funny scenes are incredible!!!!!
