Why was this named Wolf Hall? Wolf Hall was Jane Seymour's home and yet there is little screen time devoted to it. I've watched programs and read a lot about this time in English history and I was really looking forward to watch these two seasons and found them both to be disappointing. Damian Lewis being cast as Henry VIII was about the only thing that I found excellent. The story dragged, jumped around too much, they played fast and loose with a lot of the facts and did not develop the primary characters, except Cromwell, in order to understand them. To me the best movie about Henry VIII is Anne of the Thousand Days.

I read the book decades ago and expected the movie to be equally good. I watched the entire movie because I felt it had it get better but it didn't. From the start, the Pricilla's low whispery voice was probably to show her insecurity and shyness but I found it hard to believe that a superstar like Elvis would be attracted to someone like that. Too much jumping forward in time without explaining what was happening and why. What was with the rape scene and the reason behind it when he said I'll show you what its like when a real man makes love, (or something to the effect). All in all there's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Talk about literary license. I've read and seem many versions of Henry VIII and this takes the cake. Henry was only 10 when Arthur died so the depiction of him as an adult in the series is not even close to accurate. Catherine always claimed she and Arthur never consumated their marriage so the scenes of them having sex is also bogus. I've watched all the episodes because I can't wait to see what crazy twists they come up with. Hghlights? Catherine having miscarriages with no one in attendance, the one in the courtyard is the best. She didn't really fight at Flodden; it goes on and on. I also don't get the accent; sounds too force.

Normally I love religious movies but I fell asleep trying to watch this. The lack of interaction between the characters made this movie extremely boring. The only interesting part was Salome's dance.
