Used this moving company to move and bring containers from my storage . The containers were already packed and sitting in 1 room . On May 26 I received a call from the company letting me know that they would arrive at 1:00 pm on May 27, 2020. I decided I would sleep late on Wednesday. Also, I had taken that day off from work to prepare for the trunks to be removed. At 0830 I received a call from the driver stating we are 30 minutes away from your house. I told him that my appointment was for 1pm. He said let me call. He never called. At 9 am the driver was knocking at the door. I was livid. I had already gotten in the shower and my mother answered the door. I called the company and spoke with Nate. He wanted to know if I could change the date. I actually should have canceled. He called me back and said that the drivers would wait. I have this process done all the time with a different moving company. In fact I have been doing this process for over 10 years. My normal company could not come until June 3rd. I had no problems with the movers. This job takes only an hour. My house is less than 15 minutes from the storage facility. I was charged the time they waited and the actual labor hours. 119/ hr. Total bill 354.00. I have not spoken with the company. I will do that on May 28 when I am calm. Customer service will ruin a company. It would have been appropriate for someone to have called in advance. Never assume that the customer is ok with you showing up 4 hours early.
