If you are tired of experiencing corruption and chaos in the US; then you can watch the movie Sherni (tigress) and see corruption and chaos in India. It is pretty much the same. But the Indian version is simpler and very informative. Every kind of faulty government is illustrated. The ordinary Indian citizens are robbed of their lands, while rich people develop stolen lands for profit. Much of the story is about a female tiger (translation: sherni) that is killing people and in the end is shot illegally. The movie lesson for me, is that, corrupt government and leadership, all over the world, is more the rule, than the exception. One more point regarding the value of the movie: it is a good representation of how people live in a less developed part of the world.

This is one of my ALL-TIME most favorite movies. It is a remarkable combination of drama, history, philosophy, adventure, politics, and friendship. Some critics focus on movie imperfections. NOT once did I hesitate watching, because something was amiss. Any student studying world history should see this movie. It is also valuable in presenting many different views of the ways that we see other people, and world events.

I really like this show except for the religious parts, which seem inconsistent with the intelligence of the group (maybe?). Several of the characters are really enjoyable: Erin, Jamie, Abigail, Frank, etc. The stories are mostly interesting and even educational. Most are plausible. If you like the "Law and Order" series, you probably will like this show.

I really liked this movie and when it ended, I felt an emotional surge. The actors were all excellent. Taylor Russell, the girl friend, was outstanding. Perhaps a weakness in the move was that it was over dramatized at times. But that is just my interpretation. I know that this movie will not appeal to everyone, but it is hard to define those that will like it. I know a movie is good when I seem to meld in with the characters.

I loved this movie. This brave woman travelled the African deserts and provided amazing organizational national influence. The movie casting, acting, and story were well done.

I enjoyed this movie, but it is not for everyone. Some of it was pretty interesting, and parts were somewhat bizarre. The very popular actress Angelina Jolie, added a good deal to the movie's success. It could be considered a predessor of the "MeToo" movement. Several high school girls get revenge for a teachers sexual harassment, but then get themselves into considerable trouble.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. The relationship between Kilmer and Shue was the best part. The plot was not very realistic (pretty impossible), but it was romantic and parts were clever. Not profound, nor of great literary value, but still a nice break from reality.

Tender movie about a lesbian relationship between a beautiful young girl and older experienced women (Lea Seydoux) with blue hair. Enjoyable as a good story and for love scenes.
