The show undeniably had a peak during seasons 2-3. Though, sad to say, it's been dipping in quality at a steady rate. Tossing aside writing flaws and miss opportunities, this show doesn't know what it wants to be. I'm fine with filler interlaced in between significant plot points, but it shouldn't be used to pad out season time. There isn't an excuse to leave a boy stranded in space and not even give it the slightest mention, while the main character and co. go on vacation. Being storyboard-driven came to this show's dismay, as certain bits of it come across as completely tone-deaf. The pacing has been absolutely baffling, and the recent episodes in Diamond Days come to prove this point even further.
If you like characters asking questions in media, trust me, you won't be getting any here.
