Love Monty Don and the info he gives from Longmeadow. BUT Gardener's World is turning more and more into a travelogue of other people's gardens, moving away from what it once was - a help to we gardeners and allotmenteers growing flowers, vegetables etc. Quite simply, we have started recording the programme and whizzing through most of it, only watching Monty's pieces. What a shame. Perhaps the BBC needs to split it into 2 distinct programmes.

Ignore the professional critics. Cats is a delight. If you enjoy Strictly you'll love the choreography. If you've seen the stage show you'll want to sing along. The special effects are amazing. Who knew it was possible to appreciate cockroaches(!)? Jennifer Hudson's Memory is stunning. The settings are startling. The humour is good, unexpected and gentle. So what if the story is weak and the whole thing is slightly mad! It's entertainment with a capital E. Do you know something? I loved it.
