Ramesh is an amazing actor, and thats why it makes me wonder why he accepted this role; lack of work perhaps. A much more subtle characterization would have been apt; looks like he was made to ape Jeremy Brett and Cumberbatch to begin with and a poor attempt at that, just to later bring it to perspective in the second half when the actual screenplay begins . The story was good only to be disqualified by the playwrite. A poor attempt at indianizing a western mystery. However it will entice those who have little or experience of watching Doyle's or Christie's work portrayed in the past elsewhere.
