I've been with this show from beginning to end. It is not the show perhaps that millions of MCU fans wanted, but it feels tailor made for me. It explores a comic book universe I adored from my childhood from a more mature and modern perspective. It downplays the capes and focuses on how ordinary people become extraordinary when faced with a universe even more amazing and incredible and oftentimes sinister and deadly than the naivety of the 1960s imagined. I would recommend this to anyone. I'm frustrated it didn't get more appreciation when it mattered, but it is my hope that in the future, more people give it a fair shake and Agents of SHIELD is remembered and revered fondly by people for generations to come. Maybe it's not what we wanted, but "you can't always get what you want. You can try sometimes and you just might find you get what you need." Yeah I said it.
