"Limbo" Criticism.
Album by Aminé
Positive.
On the intro 'Burden' he gives the topic sentence out,in order to captivate and inform listeners on what to expect going through this journey of his emotions. Great Intro.
Love the idea of most tracks finishing and blending into the next thus making listening easier and hence making the album a continuous tale. Smart.
Love the tribute paid to Kobe on the Album. R.I.P Kobe.
The rap bars written by Aminé on this LP doesn't show his age at all, because of the maturity, the ease at which he rhymes and the intellectual content in it. So Mature.
I have always loved to listen to Aminé's vocals and he granted my wish once more on this record hence increasing my interest.
The skits from Jak Knight gives life lessons & understanding on the flow of the record.
Very satisfying outro, ("My Reality") talking about finding peace while living your life.
Favourite Features: slowthai & Vince Staples ("Pressure in my Palms") + Young Thug ("Compensating")
Favourite Tracks: "Becky" & "Fetus"
Favourite Instrumentals: "Fetus", "Burden" & "Can't Decide"
Negative.
JID's verse on "Roots" contains a lot of material or valuable info but he could do better.
Love, "Can't Decide" that's one of my favourite tracks of the album but the pre- chorus is not good. It didn't need to be included if it is this bad.
It needs more features by renown guest artists.
Least Fav. Feature: Summer Walker ("Easy")
Least Fav. Track: "Roots"
Conclusion
Aminé's best record so far in my opinion.
When listening to it there isn't any lack of interest. I want to just keep on listening to know the outcome.
It does have a lot of replay value in my opinion due to the hard work put in.
Remark: Great record. Recommend it to a Hip/Hop & Rap or R&B audience.
Score: 8.5/10
