Right, I really liked this game for 90% of it. The story line, gameplay and hidden secrets are what makes Dark Pictures an amazing studio and it’s why I will always run to get their new games the day of release. However, after the in-depth and completely submersible “Until Dawn” I cannot help but think that the following games feel rushed and kinda cop-out the endings very quickly. I completed “Little Hope” in four hours and just sat there wanting more story, I’m aware there are other endings and a redo to collect all the collectibles is a must, but when you get over the initial shock ending, there is no pull to replay.
Edit: actually I have more to say. I am very disappointed with the lack of closure I have to this ending, the whole story you play has no ending and no real close to the witch story. I’m sat here getting angrier as the whole game would have made a FANTASTIC movie but game in which I want to know the ending and have a fully realised gameplay it falls very short. I was throughly satisfied for 90% and enjoyed every moment and then it ended, abruptly, without warning and without explanation to the story I had been so wrapped up in.
I miss Until Dawn, I’ll restart that tomorrow.
