Easily one of the best marvel movies ever made and one of the best if not the best Spider-Man movie ever made. Tom Holland proves once again he is the best Spider-Man. Jake Gyllenhaal shines as mysterio. Easily one of the best characters in this movie and in the entire mcu. This is a must watch. Personally I enjoyed it more than endgame mainly because it’s super fun and doesn’t have all the emotion that endgame had. But don’t get me wrong, this movie has a lot of emotion in it mainly with the loss of Tony Stark, but also with the lessons Peter learns along the way. Overall an amazing movie that proves marvel still gets superhero movies and stories in general

I can’t really give this movie a thumbs up or a thumbs down, there is a lot of great stuff in this movie, Nick Fury and Talos are the best things about this movie. They did a really great job on making a young Nick Fury. He is funny and shows a lot of emotion. Talos portrayed by Ben Mendleson, is really funny as well. There is a lot of bland stuff in this movie as well. The title character, Captain Marvel, portrayed by Brie Larson, felt like the actress didn’t want to be in this movie, she had some good moments but is pretty bland. The bad stuff about this movie comes down to cgi in the 3rd act. It is really bad. The plot itself is also bland, there is a very unexpected twist halfway through, but if you saw guardians of the galaxy, you already know the second big twist in this movie. Also Captain Marvel is VERY powerful and it makes the 3rd act as engaging as 3rd acts should be. It also suffers from the fact that it’s an origin story, so there isn’t much room to expand the usual origin story formula. Over all, a good movie, not at all one of marvels best but far from the worst

I have always enjoyed this movie, I recently watched it back to back with the force awakens. The movie is so much better than the already great movie that the force awakens is. The movie improves every thing from the force awakens, Kylo Ren is actually a good character and his interactions with Rey are amazingly done. The snokes thrown room point of the story is amazing and has a great twist you don’t see coming unless you know what happens. Luke was amazing in this film. Mark Hamil did an outstanding job in portraying his most iconic character. People criticize the way the filmmakers handled Luke, but hamil successfully portrays a broken hero that has lost a lot. The people complaining about the direction Luke’s character is portrayed need to realize that 30 years have passed since the ending of Return of the Jedi. The end of the film is one of the best endings I have ever seen in a movie. Luke’s sacrifice is amazing and extremely well done and really respectful to the character. Snokes death is the perfect way to open the door to the future of Kylo rens character for episode 9. Holdos sacrifice is beautiful and does not disappoint anytime I watch the movie. Canto Bite is a big piece of controversy. I can see why people say it’s not necessary to the plot but I still have fun with the action that goes down with the Finn and Rose plot. It also shows a side of the galaxy we’ve never seen before through the character of DJ who doesn’t get to do much but is enjoyable to watch. Rey is done well too. I like how she is not a kenobi or a skywalker or a palpatine. She is also not a big Mary Sue. Luke can be called a Gary sue in the originals as well. Rey never used a lightsaber neither did Luke until he foght Darth Vader and sure, he didn’t win m, but he held his own longer than all of the highly trained Jedi from the prequels. Rey is seen practicing with her staff on Luke’s island showing that she has some knowledge of fight with melee weapons. Overall the movie is enjoyable and ends with the audience feeling satisfied with what happened in the film
