This is the antithesis of everything great about the series. It’s cheesy and inauthentic—like so much Christian art. The chosen series is not either of these things, so we were super disappointed about the movie. If I had never seen the episodes, this movie would not have made me want to watch them. Wait until it comes out on the app and fast forward through all the music.
