John Wick 1 - phenomenal, 2 dare I say even better and more on the edge of my seat, 3 - I had to see it. I couldn't NOT see it. But the story line didn't have any twists that weren't expected. Of course Keanu Reeves was fantastic but some of the new characters were not powerful enough actors to be believe and stay immersed in the story line. Whomever played the adjudicator was simple, boring, and could not grip the role of what it should have displayed, some of the characters were, shall I say, hokey and then Halle Berry, sorry to say, was uninviting in her role. She is a terrific actress just not in a role like this. Nothing about her screams terrifying, scary, threatening, foreboding, mischievous, dangerous etc. Her role would have been better served by someone else. And I knew what was happening the whole movie before it happened. I wish I could give a better review but I would rather watch the first 2 than Parabellum.
