One of the most underrated LGBTQ+ movies of 2024; I must say after the subject matter and the performance of the actors. The film has a great cast of actors and the characters are played out beautifully.The storyline is slowly- paced and builds on momentum until the climax. I must admit that I wasn't prepared for the conclusion. A must-watch if you can immerse yourself in the morals of that epoch.

If you love fairy tales, you'll also love this version of cherry- picked narratives. Religions have always dealt on the association of guilt, suffering, divine punishment and pleasure to justify these tales of vengeance and hypocrisy that is so much drenched in blood. There are allusions of the Stockholm syndrome as to what was the sufferings of the 'chosen ones' in the hands of the Pharaoh; that they had been enslaved by him psychologically. What is greater enslavement than religion, whatever you name it? Killing of first- borns, of children in the name of God? Blasphemy? How can God be so sadistic and vengeful in his ways? So many versions, so many narratives, so many excuses for bloodshed, human and animal sacrifices. And the supremacy of humans on animals, of a God who has a man's voice. And what is the place of the women. Do we have women prophets? If nowadays someone hears voices, he is sent to get mental treatment. Episodes like Sodom: Lot who instead of defending his wife and daughters against the mob, offers to give them to appease the mob so that they leave the angel alone. Then the angel asks Lot to leave Sodom because he was bringing the wrath of God by burning Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot's flight from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, during which his wife became a pillar of salt ( for not heeding the advice of the angel by looking back), and being intoxicated by his daughters so they could have incestuous intercourse with him to continue their family line. The burden always falls on the women!Misogynistic! How absurd can all this get? Each religion has his own version of the story of Lot. And what about dinosaurs; were they even acknowledged in the holy books. And the Earth having been created in 7 days, Eve being made from the rib of Adam. Again Eve ( a woman )seduces Adam into eating the forbidden fruit and they are exiled from Eden. Quite entertaining! If brainwashing had a name, its trade mark would be religion.

2 stars for the visuals and fight choreography that do not compensate for the poor story-line, bad script overall. So much could have been delivered with the means they had if they wanted to address the social issues in the movie in the best way. There have been films like Masaan, Rang De Basanti and Hututu, and then there is Jawan. Is it worth spending nearly 3 hours to watch a movie that barely moves you since it all seems a patchwork of some western movies. Just read some 1 star reviews to get an idea of how copy-pasted this movie could be. Big stars and a huge budget don't necessarily mean a great movie. It may be a blockbuster but kind of hurts common sense. Sure, there is an audience for every type of movie.

A talented cast for a story of two teen worlds that collide but have so much in common. It could have been more interesting if the script had delved deeper but the performance of the cast makes it up for it. Trivia: the Biosphere of Montreal is depicted in this movie during the Expo 67.

Stale, waste of time, lack of originality and dumb. The main characters heal fantastically well in the space of some hours! If you are only interested in bloody carnage without having to access your grey matter, you will undoubtedly like this franchise. I watched the 2022 Scream and I thought that this one would be better. At some point, the producers just need to stop to invest in this franchise. Same story, microwave-oven warmed with insipid sauce.

The acting was polished but the script lacks authencity, not saying because it's a remake , but because the survival part looks so incredible for someone who has a BSc in nursing and doesn't know the basics of hypothermia ( though there are some part of creativity but not real ingenuity). It's a waste of time if you consider the script as to the survival instinct, the lack of sensible decisions based on the opportunities to escape and/ or to alleviate the predicament. Kind of gets into your nerves!

Such a mind- blowing performance by the cast, director and the ensemble of crew and such breath- taking performance by Tripti Dimri, her vulnerability, her need to be accepted and acknowledged. The only missing part would have been more sound tracks and songs, not to ignore the already beautiful melodies, in this movie.

The special effects and the acting was pretty good. I expected a grade B movie at first but the story line kept me hooked. Nice to see that it has received many awards and recognition.

A modern day version of the Animal Farm by George Orwell where youngsters are projected into the world of adults. A must-see series.
