It's an age old tale told in a pedestrian manner with space as a vast and infinite backdrop of how one man's life is impacted by an absent father who he adored and looked up to, and in the end letting him go, literally and figuratively, allowed him to hopefully open his heart to live and love the people who really matter to him.
