Not a fan of this book. Speaking for a person who was born in 1998, I did not start using social media until 2015. To say that the "iGen" started after 1995 is an exaggeration. There may have been outliers to this, meaning maybe a few people born in that time frame did hook on to social media early on but that is far and few between. I did not grow up on social media. It didn't even blow up until around 2016 when things like Instagram and Snapchat surfaced to being a bigger social platform for people in my age bracket. It is very frustrating to see older generations speak for us and talk about how we've basically had technology right out of the womb when that is not the case. I would say that this "iGen" that she speaks so much about, starts from the year 2016 NOT 1995. For gosh sake, the first iphone wasn't even released until 2007. This is just one aspect of her book out of like 15 that I completely disagree on. Some of the things she mentions in her book is just far fetched, hypothetical and VERY bias and speaking from my reality, not true.
