'PANIPAT' enthralls you completely. Its impact lives in your mind till some hours after the movie ends. Story of panipat war and betrayal done to maratha's is a well known history read by each one of us in various serials, books, articles.Because of that Ashutosh Gowarikar didn't waste his time teaching us the history behind it. His focus was limited to Sadashivrao, his braveness and war skills. Also he has meticulously shown the lack of astuteness and statesmanship of sadashivrao. He has also shown some internal rifts in the peshwas but has not highlighted it that much. He has taken cinematic liberty in some scenes. Some dialogues were unncessarly evoking nationalism which was illogical and irrelevant keeping the geography of india at that time. There was no concept of one nation at that time till british came to rule us. So I found that one mistake. Acting by all the star cast is superb. When I watched trailer I was little bit doubtful about Arjun Kapoors capacity. But dnt worry he has carried on the responsibility very well. Applauds to him. Sanjay datt is appropriate choice for abdali. Kriti Sanon is not looked like a marathi girl but her hard work was seen in some scenes. There was much number of marathi artists in the film. Mohnish behl was seen as Nanasaheb peshwa and his wife gopikabai was donned by padmini kolhapure. Director has used technology very efficiently to portray the war scenes to give authenticity to them.'Panipat’ delves into a significant chapter in history and is a war drama that lauds the unshakeable bravery, courage and the strong principles of the Maratha. They had every chance of getting the throne of delhi since at that time no one was capable to match their power and british were struggling to find root. That chance was not taken. When sadashivrao decides to go further into war and despite he knows he was lacking with resources and armoury then also he showed unnecessary bravery. Abdali had offered him decent deal which he could have accepted and would hve been able to save so much lives and also could have gotten time to strengthen his army. That chance was sheerly wasted by him. That showed his lack of farsightedness. Though he was supreme in the warfield bt in war its not fruitful always to fight but sometimes its wise to have practical deal. His decisions to blindly trust some of the raja's also costed him dearly. त्यामुळे तर म्हण पडली नसेल की मराठी माणसे युद्धात जिंकतात पण तहात हरतात. इथे तर युद्ध टाळून तह करता आला असता आणि व्यावहारिकता दाखवून भविष्यासाठी मराठा साम्राज्य आणखी दृढ करता आले असते. या युद्धाचा परिणाम खुप प्रदीर्घ काळ झाला म्हणून तर आज पण या युद्धात झालेल्या पराभवाबद्दल हळहळ व्यक्त केली जाते. गोवारीकरांसारख्या प्रतिभावान दिग्दर्शकाला याची भुरळ पडली नसती तर नवलच.

'Pati,Patni aur Woh' is a revamped version of B R Chopra's 1978 film with the same name. But it's not limited to just a remake of that film. Its more than that. Directed by mudasar aziz who has also written screenplay and dialoues of this film has become a delight to watch. Witty lines adds up to the humour. In first half it has become little slow but in second one it becomes full paisa wasool. We can gauge from the title what will be the story and its end but despite of that I will recommend this to watch because of the fresh treatment given to it. This film is about middle class man named as abhinav tyagi (kartik aryan) who has steady life with a government job and is happily married to vedika ( bhumi pednekar) who joins as teacher in coaching class after marriage. In regular routine life of abhinav tyagi one day tapasya singh (ananya pandey) enters and as usual Abhinav tyagi being a man starts to flirt with her. This so called timepass for him turns into lifelong message for him. And how things grow further is funny to watch. Kartik Aryan impresses again with his monologues. Aparashakti khurrana is becoming quintessential supporting character in bollywood. His chemistry with kartik is rocking. Bhumi pednekar is as usual seen superb. She and ayushaman khurrana have become worth to watch in every film they do. Mudassar aziz has delivered a good movie. In one of the scenes in the film at the climax bhoomi says to kartik .. 'Before a woman praises your smile, ask yourself who is the reason for your smile in the first place?' Such more dialogues in the film give the ones who are married and who wanna be married a good msg.

#Bala 'Bala' is a must to watch this weekend. Ayushaman and team will won your heart for sure. Plz go and watch this comedy drama which will make you laugh while giving you sweet message at the end. Amid serious issues like ram mandir, govt not getting formed in maharashtra , delhi pollution, untimely rains... this movie has come at the right time this weekend to make you laugh and think of youself. So go and enjoy. Dnt miss it. Bala' has solid combo. One its directed by 'stree' fame Amar Kaushik and second is it has Ayushman Khurrana in the lead. Ayushman has created his own audience. People are coming to watch him and that shows he has proved his mettle. Amar Kaushik who gave hit in previous year in the form of Stree has beautifully directed Bala also. Script wasnt having lot to say but acting of all the star cast, beautiful msg at the end, story set up in small town like kanpur, language of that town, funny dialogues, good music makes your day. This film is about the man who has got bald in his younger age and his childhood friend Latika who is dark skinned. Bala played by ayushman proud of his long hairs in childhood gets bald after he becomes younger.Bala has inferiority complex and feels secluded in society due to his baldness. At the same time Latika who is dark skinned and hears taunts on her looks dont feel shy to face society and love how she looks. Bt bala to regain his confidence wears artificial hairs. Bcoz of it he gets his love interest bt when she gets to know he is bald she leaves him. And then how bala faces all this mess and how Latika helps him to regain his confidence is what the film is. We always compare ourselves to others and get saddened if he or she is better than you in looks or in other things. Then we try to become like them through some artificial methods. But real happiness doesnt lie in artificial things, it is always short in living. So we shall accept what we have and shall love ourselves first then world will love you. Film end with this beautiful thought which will help you all to regain your confidence and you will start to love yourself.

Section 375 directed by Ajay Behl is truely filled with mesmerising courtroom drama. It engages you in every scene and you can't afford to miss even single frame of it. It's perfect drama that u will love to watch. So those who haven't seen this plz plz go and watch. I will surely recommend. After 'Pink' this has become my courtroom drama film which shall not be missed. Subtle dialogues such as 'Justice is abstarct and law is fact', 'We are not in buisness of justice but in the buisness of law' and lot more enthralls you throughout. Film starts with woman employee filing case against his boss of committing rape of her. Under IPC Section 375 if rape is there then question comes whether it was with consent or force. Film revolves around this question only. Marzi ya jabardasti? Prosecution and defence lawyers do arguments which raises several issues in our mind. Akshay Khanna and richa chaddha have nailed it through their hard hitting performances. Akshay Khanna shall do such movies more and more . He has the right potential in him and this is his career best. Film presents two ways of thinking. One is the criminal law and its provisions are misused by women against their colleagues and bosses to get the personal grudges out and taking revenge. While other is misuse of power by privileged ones by luring the under privileged girls of fame and success and taking benefit of them in face of physical relationships. So if in such complex situation girl thinks of taking revenge and rape story turns into revenge one then what will happen...this is wht film is all about. Director and dialogue writers have worked hard to immitate court room functionings such miniscuely that it looks like real one. All the starcast has been phenomenol. Dnt miss this one for sure.

'Batla house' directed by Nikhil Advani presents the much alleged and controversial case of 'so called' fake encounter held at Batla house L18, Oklhla, Delhi. This encounter was being done at the outset of serial bomb blasts at delhi in 2008. Indian mujjahedin took the responsiblity of these attacks which took toll of hundreds of common people of delhi. Seven days after the incident, special cell of delhi police raids one flat in batla house to arrest the accused. But in that operation firing gets in and whole operation turns into an encounter. In which 3 accused and 1 delhi police inspector gets killed and 2 accused succeds in running away. But surprise to delhi police civil society and humans rights activists were not with police and with the help of media personnels they claimed this encounter to be fake one and hold the police officer ACP Sanjeev Kumar and his team guilty for accusing and murdering the innocent minority students for serial bomb blasts. Adding to this confusion, political opposition parties started to demand judicial inquiry to the case and held ruling govt as anti minority. Thats wht whole drama get starts. At the end of inquiry in 2013 ACP Sanjeev Kumar and his team was acquitted of the charges. Yes, the film is inspired by true events and its being dramatised for the sake of it shall look as film not a documentary. So cinematic liberty is being taken at some scenes and incidents. Film presents you the facts of one side. So it looks to be one sided affair at some instances. But in later part after interval it takes fast pace and during interrogations you may get clear of all the confusions. You may then find it to be as unbiased one. First part though clumsy and repeatitive but second one takes your heart away and you gets the real satisfaction. John abraham as always has done his realistic role very efficiently. He has been seen this avtar several times before so nothing new in it. He has done the same kind of roles in 'romeo akbar walter', 'satyamev jayte', ' force', 'parmanu' etc. He loves to tackle with realistic subjects. Mrunal thakur in small stint has looked better. Director had the scope of making it more better by sidelining the drama and pulling in more facts but nonetheless film has become must to watch.
