Waited to watch until it was free streaming. Heard it was terrible, now I can verify. It started out good, I had high hopes for it, but man oh man, is the writing and production value really terrible. It's the classic problem with DC movies. Great ideas, but can't follow up with a team that can bring those great ideas to life. Too bad. Was 4/10 on the watchable scale. Could have gone without this one. Oh well...

Spoiler alert ahead ****** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Would have been way better if Walter White lived, he's on trial for everything he's done. Has to look people in the face, people he's hurt or affected. Jesse gets out of the cage and spends half the movie breaking him out of jail, and they together spend the other half tying up loose ends whilst working out their love/hate/I wanna kill you relationship. Should have taken the entirety of the writing of all 5 seasons into account in the movie. I didn't quite care for the coming of age redemption of Jesse Pinkman story. Yeah great. Fine. Movie was ok. But I feel like that little kid in the first Incredibles movie: just waiting for something great to happen I guess.

This was like a movie length version of a Doctor Who episode. Really cool idea for a movie. 👍

This could have been an amazingly fantastic script if it turned sci-fi/fantasy/horror. The series lost me at the second episode as the potential character development unfolded like a wet noodle. Sean should have come back as a clone. That would have been a cool twist for his sudeen mood/moral change. The reason Anne Montgomery knew about Lisa and Emigen is because the technology pioneered at Emigen is a key that Anne needs to unlock the secrets of immortality. (Anne has cloning technology but they deteriote too fast/go crazy/etc. whatever) Lisa knows there's something wrong with Sean and starts finding clues that something terrible happened to him. The series tracks her from a stalwart scientist to a rough and tumble warrior desperate to save to the one she loves. Her academic background as a genius qualifies her story arc as the hero/protagonist and gives credit to the role's believability. Plot twist at the end is Anne Montgomery isn't even the original, she's a clone fighting for survival. This could have been like a really cool altered carbon/face off type deal with a star studded cast. Could have taken it to plump the depths of the indomitable spirit of the human psyche and the lengths one will go through to live "at any cost".
