Being a huge Downtown Abbey TV series fan, I was quite disappointed with the film. Even though it is a great pleasure to see again all the familiar characters played by wonderful actors, the plot is weak to the point of almost uninteresting. The author, clearly, didn't apply enough effort to create something decent that could keep up with the standards of his own previous creation.
