The movie Section 375, "Section 375 of Indian Penal Code pertains to the criminal offence of raping, defines rape as 'sexual intercourse with a woman against her will, without her consent, by coercion, misrepresentation or fraud or at a time when she has been intoxicated or duped, or is of unsound mental health and in any case if she is under 18 years of age."
Casting wasn't good. Richa Chadda was not impressive, somewhere she was lacking the confidence and neither she expressed her role in powerful manner which was required. Akshay khanna is apt for such roles. The screenplay, whole movie on the courtroom discussion and if you are interested in law subjects or such kind of movie you might not found it impressive. In this movie, a junior coutume designer, named Anjali 'Alleged' rape case on a bollywood director named Rohan, yes she alleged the false rape case on director Rohan, which is actually she took revenge on him, because they had affair and Rohan being a powerful and authoritative person use her.
This movie has shown the side of false and accused victims, they also suffer a lot. And a false verdict on rape case means coffin on genuine rape cases. These things are happening in our society, a person who falsely alleged someone, he/she is also 'not right' in the eye of law. However, somewhere between countroom discussions, investigations, and blindly believing on social media court, we become bias and justice not prevail. The main objective of the movie is not only to show section 375 but our justiciary system that sometimes failed to give justice.
Overall, it's a one time watch movie neither so bad nor impressive but atleast watch it at once that's my recommendation.
