One of the best! Story, acting, character development.

One of the best! If you want a light hearted drama that displays emotionally mature characters, this is it. From the leads, second leads, parents, etc, it's so great to show healthy conflict management. The writer was able to still incorporate so much depth and emotions, without making the characters caricatures, but complex humans. I'm tired of toxic relationships in story lines. Really enjoyed it from beginning to end.

One of the best! I've watched it 5 times and it's as good each time. Witty lines, heart warming, hilarious, great character building, great storyline... you just fall in love with all the good characters. I'm seriously disappointed that they didn't get any awards.

I loved it! Every kid, yes including boys, need to know what girls go through during puberty. It's a natural part of life and should be normalized. I love that the story addresses how family dynamics can impact our children negatively, and how lack of self- awareness can impact others. It's a wonderful conversation starter for families. Negative reviews are mostly about this movie not being white enough or about boys. There are all kinds of narratives that can and should be highlighted too, in case you didn't know.

Coming from an Asian American who has watched Chinese and American movies for 40+ years, this is seriously one of the best! It captured feels of American films, retro Hong Kong film, Chinese Kung-fu, Chinese-drama, plus Marvel magic! Loved it. A classic for ages to come!
