CZJ gives a fun performance, but that's about all there is to enjoy here. Lily Taylor's hysterical portrait of Eleanor is beyond over the top, and Luke Wilson made me want to throw something at the screen more often than not. Had the movie leaned into the admittedly impressive atmosphere of the mansion instead of relying on some truly atrocious CGI, it might have at least been worth a watch. As is, it's a definite pass for me.
