The movie can be lauded for it's choice of a socially relevant cause( how the provision of electricity is the fundamental right of an individual yet so many of us are deprived of it whilst others are powerless in the face of corrupt, powerful corporations of such sectors which slap us with inflated bills and we are sadly, obliged to pay)
However, the movie is marred by it's excessive running length, melodrama and half- baked Garhwali n Kumauni dialects(the words 'bal' n 'thehra'are irritatingly repeated around a 100 times!)
Up in the breath-taking hills of Uttarkhand, dwell 3 friends: Divyendu Sharma, Shahid Kapur(small time wily lawyer) n Shraddha(wannabe fashion designer) .The 1st half of the movie tests your nerves n patience. The movie gains some momentum n relevance only in the 2nd half.
Shahid is impressive in the latter half when his character undergoes metamorphosis. Divyendu has a calm demeanour and is likeable. Shraddha looms pretty n peppy but needs to work on her acting skills and dialogue delivery. Yami Gautam looks sweet but is just about okay in her role.
At best, this movie is just about a one-time-watch!
