Other than the location, & names of the characters, this series does not even resemble Austen’s book, Sanditon. While Charlotte Heywood is recognizable as Austen’s leading lady, Sidney Parker is cast more as a knockoff of Mr. Darcy (Pride & Prejudice) than the Sidney Parker presented by Austen. I can’t even begin to describe how totally off Arthur Parker & Georgiana Lambe are depicted. Terribly disappointing series if one has read the book.
