I thought Tyra Banks as EMCEE was horrible. She thought she was the star of the show etc. I believe the reason the show isn't as popular as it originally was is due to the lack of real stars who are known to the majority of the public. Also the show has gotten so technical with lights, etc., sometimes the one can't see the dancers. Also when there is an audience, one can't hear the announcer. This was also true last night with the canned audience - but it was just as well I couldn't hear Banks. Bring back someone who will stay in the background and not believe they are the star!
