No backstory or history about the traditions they observed and participated in. It definitely had a “white people try ethnic things” vibe. It would’ve been a good series if they actually explained the traditions and what was going on.

I was expecting so much more as Netflix was promoting this movie nonstop. The story line was weak and the acting was pretty bad, especially with Locke. I don’t understand why he was never looking at anyone in the eyes. The ending didn’t make sense, so was it a love story? No? Then why did Elizabeth and Cam kiss? Super weird. Anyway, I love cheesy movies and this one was not for me.
