Bleak film but worth the watch. Vigo is terrific as always.

The people not liking this movie don't get it. It's got a very 1970's conspiracy thriller vibe. They don't make movies like this anymore. This movie has more in common with a Robert Redford 70's flick or Hitchcock than a Tom Cruise or Matt Damon action movie. If you like those old 70's films you'll like this.

Independent film that I discovered during my American independent film phase in my early 20's when I discovered that movies don't have to blow things up or have talking monkeys in them to be good. Not that planet of the Apes isn't a great film too. It's about a rather taboo topic. But it's far funnier and poignant than it has a right to be.
