It's not the original series episode-for-episode, but the music and the storyline is fairly close. Don't expect a one-for-one recreation of the anime, but there is much more secondary character development and it is enjoyable. Again, if you're expecting the anime recreated scene-for-scene, just pass or enjoy this interpretation. I loved it.
