Really an awful movie which appears to drive home a woke fantasy about the power couple that dominated television broadcast. Was this “movie” really about Nicole Kidman’s fantasy about being movie content creator in the 21st century? Every sex scene with Kidman reminds me of a naked Barbie doll doing Ken in a Malibu doll house - totally devoid of passion and genitalia. Does the Arnaz family really buy into this terrible remake on the lives of two television industry superstars? The two created Desilu Studios. Is this movie based on 20th century fact or 21st century woke fantasy? (Spoiler alert ) As others have noted, there was no call to J. Edgar Hoover (ever). A movie like this required the audience to abandon their critical thinking skills and accept woke revisionist history as fact. No wonder this tripe streams for free on Amazon.
Ps these 1950s remakes successful bring smoking back to television after it was banned decades ago. Great for the tobacco industry. Bad for America.
