I live in Australia and have been watching his stuff at home during isolation a lot more. I was a huge fan of The Colbert Report and while I think he's a little more restricted on whatever network this show is on, I just adore his intelligent and thoughtful review of the day's events. As I don't have this fierce, cult-like dedication to any political parties I can appreciate his need to hold the POTUS accountable for his actions. My understanding from a lot of these reviews is blind loyalty by the name of patriotism which seems incredibly dangerous. I appreciate all his content from religious commentary, to his LOTR and NZ love to his political bits. He's a national treasure and those who don't get or appreciate him frankly don't deserve him.
