Saw this one fairly recently. If I can help someone else from this excruciatingly awful 2 hours, take my word for it. If you have ANYTHING you want or need to do, go for it. Super disappointed. I really like quirky in a film, but this kept promising that and then served up a cold, congealed mess.

This absolutely blasty all the way through. Nice stretch of the wings for David Hyde Pierce. Nice little cameo for Helen Reddy as the nosey neighbor. Plenty of delightful little quirks all the way.

Lovely little slice. Very sensitive approach to the human condition that brings very unlikely individuals together, for a short time, but a very intense time, where needs are met before anyone really realized what those needs are. Top notch performances all around.♥️👍

I might give this another look at some point, but have to say, I was somewhat disappointed. There was a sort of bogged down feel to it, and Nicole Kidman seemed a bit stiff in her characterization, which would've been okay, but in order to appreciate that approach, it would've been helpful to know what brought them to on the surface a an idyllic life, but it was so sterile it was hard to imagine who these people were, and why do we really care about them.

This one admittedly has more pluses than minuses. The cast top notch, and you get the real feel of ruthless and self serving characterizations, but....watching with a sort of intermittent approach, the bouncy quality of it is a tad off putting. Not one episode just plays out in real time. It's either going back 3 months or forward 6....and even a couple times, bounced around in increments of a day or week. I'm not saying it's totally unwatchable, I just think this continual volley with time, makes the continuity a very vague approach.

If your idea of a good film is watching a cast of characters bent on making one dimension seem quite deep, you're in for a treat. Not sure if there was any real intent with this project, except perhaps to illustrate just how self absorbed and dillusional may become given enough money and implications of some sort of tangible talent.

Couldn't stop watching this little gem. Very thoughtful story line, nicely developed and executed with real style. Everyone in the cast top notch. And the dog....gorgeous. Used to have one just like her.
