Books that seriously challenge the selfishness, materialist reduction ism , and other-blaming of the capitalist marketplace rarely get reviewed,so don't expect to read reviews of Revolutionary Love in the NY Times, New York Review of Books, or the New Yorker. The issue for most establishment media is that this book not only challenges the capitalist marketplace but also challenges the intellectual foundations of empiricism to the extent that it is used to justify aspects of human reality like love, kindness, generosity and at times all forms of consciousness that cannot be reduced to brain states.
