This is one of the very best movies of 2018. For some reason it lost traction in the lead up to the Oscars. It seems almost unthinkable that Chalamet's extraordinary performance (so much more challenging than his sweet performance in "CMBYN")missed a nomination, He and Steve Carrell hold the film together with a sort of bittersweet tension. If you have ever had experiences with a young person on drugs or even suspected it, the movie will frighten you and cut you to the heart. The film didnt get the push from its distributors it needed and was also released too early to catch the heightened lead up to end of year Oscar time.As with Glenn Close this year, Chalamet was cheated from a win for an Oscar richly deserved.
