This movie would have done far better in the ratings had it not been for the vampires walking around in the day time. I don't care if they have on sunglasses, sun block or what ever vampires do not do that. A teenager wrote Twilight. And everybody knows it that's why it was so silly. But too bad the makers of what could've been rated far better as a film if they could've gotten out of the Twilight mentality.

This is one of the most ridiculous shows ever seen on television. I was 16 years old when it first came on. I cannot believe I used to watch this utter nonsense that must have been very cheaply made. Barnabas Collins couldn't scare the fleas off a cat. The acting was so third rate it's pitiful. A man actually in the background howling like a dog..really???! Actors stuttering over lines like crazy The one who plays Burke is the only one I've ever seen in anything else. My goodness, what a terrible show!And that phony bat flying around on a pole you can actually see. It's a good thing Lara Parker was on the show. She did make it interesting. Not even Joan Bennett really helped this rag of a show. And thunder and lightning EVERY other show. Really?!

Absolute nonsense! Must have been extremely cheap to put on every day. Lousy actors stumbling over their lines. Nothing at all logical about the lousy scenes. The show never made any sense. A vampire who strangles people, a man howling like a dog in the background, a bat on a long pole???! Just lousy!!! Vicky Winters was ridiculous and like a five year old instead of a grown woman.

This is one of the worst shows on television. But, let's face it. It's Tyler Perry who is still trying to be a screenwriter/actor/producer and is NOWHERE near any of the three. The actors on this show are TERRIBLE and wouldn't be hired by any decent Director for the worst comedy show/movie. Stick with Madea, Tyler, that's your best bet and even that has deteriorated since it first came on the scene. Just being honest is all.
