I consider myself to be pretty easy to please with regards to historical recreations. However, I found this show to be lacking. It lacks excitement as well as the necessary cliff hangers for a series. The fighting scenes I also found to be weak. I would recommend this show as that one show you watch to go to sleep. It's the first time I watch a show created by David Farr and will likely be the last.
