I absolutely loved this movie. Duanne, the mom, the dad, the sister, the whole family's bravery. I felt they did an amazing job trying to understand, protect, care for and love Duanne unconditionally. Many of his responsibilities needed serious handling from neglect and the sister was the only one who could manage it. Till you walk in this families shoes .. trust me .. it's NOT easy. Large portions of this story have not been revealed nor many behind the scene parts have not been filmed. Every family suffers with mental illness differently. My son suffers with schizophrenic psychosis, so I definitely felt and understood this film. I wholeheartedly applaud this sister. She created an excellent, informative film and did an heroic job under difficult, painful, exhausting and maddening times. Thank you. BRAVO TO SANDRA LUCKOW!!!!

Very, very good! Just a perfectly cast film with "edge-of-your-seat" interest. Anya (Beth) is out-of-this-world beautiful. Her talent is superbly spellbinding!! She carries the entire film!!

Such a deeply moving and touching movie that keeps haunting you. First off, Mel Gibson was unbearably handsome (smile) with great chemistry toward Piper Laurie (innocently), great acting to pull that off, and beautiful Piper Laurie was a top-notch actress herself. Truly a great film with strong underlying fireworks held completely in-check by the director/producer. I wanted more of "Tim" .. (forgive my imagination)!. Loved this movie!!!

Watched it because of Ms. Streep but found the entire movie informative, interesting, educational and an eye-opener! I'd rate this movie as "damn good"!!!
