The plot is cliched, the setting is whacky, the characters are tacky, the humor is as camp as unfunny. Atrocious music, awful lyrics. Bad acting, bad singing, bad dancing. In the attempt to dignify the choice of becoming a drag queen, to explain the art of a drag queen, to point out the difficulty of a drag queen to make himself understood and above all accepted, the director manages only to highlight mediocrity and approximation.
