Personally I found reading this book very tedious. It drones on and on about what you will learn in the book for quite a long time instead of actually mentioning anything worthwhile, and also keeps sprouting quotes all over the place.
In addition, the semi fictitious nature of the book did not make it more interesting, only more annoying to get through.
Decided to drop reading it and instead read a good summary.

A much loved childhood special. Considering the CGI at that time the movie truly is fantastic. From the story, to the visuals to the soundtrack it is a must watch & I actually preferred the movie over the book.

Although this may be just your average movie with no mindblowing plotline & unanticipated twists, 10/10 recommend watching it.
We may not have a comet heading towards earth currently,but looking at responses to factual topics like climate change, its eerie knowing that this movie comes very close to predicting the storyline of what may come to pass somewhere down the line.

The concept was very interesting & chilling. Beyond that the film overall seemed dragged out & the ending was somewhat predictable. Light humour scattered throughout the film made it bearable.

Absolutely brilliant. The 1st episode may be a bit slow but the story catches on quite fast. Will probably never forget the ending. 100% worth watching.

At first you wonder what on earth you're watching but then the characters grow on you. Brilliant acting, wonderful finale and what's even better is that you can binge watch it in about 2 days.
