Where can I start? It is beyond all other detective shows. It is amazing, thrilling and outstanding! Vera Stanhope is the Sherlock Holmes of the Northeast. She reminds me so much of my gran, It's as though I have a personal relationship with her (despite us not seeing much of her life). She is an independent woman, and as a 16-year-old girl watching this series, seeing her break all gender stereotypes is astonishing. We only see Men as the lead characters, the brains behind it all... but Vera is different, it's unique. Thank you so much and I look forward to season 10!
