The show definitely had a lot of effort out into it, but i feel like it must of had a negative side effect on the show, episodes carry on for an hour (this is a show not a movie) probably because they put so much detail into each and every part, there are also plenty of scenes that add little to nothing to the story, and are probably just there to flex the cinematography and sfx skills of the producers, making it a show to easily fall asleep to. No show should be over an hour, and if your going to make it long, make sure every part of the show has significant parts that unfold the story, to keep viewers hooked, me personally though, lost in space did not have an enticing enough bait to get me hooked at all (pun intended)
