clearly i’m in the minority here, but I could not, for the life of me, take this show seriously. The writing was laughably bad. Maybe it was the actors delivering them? I’m genuinely at a loss as to why I didn’t enjoy it. Some things were clever, some moments were well done, but I hated the last episode and frankly, the monologues were insane. Every 10 minutes when a character started on another one, it completely took me out of the moment. I think it may have made a great book or a 5 episode series, because the monologues really didn’t work in the last two episodes where action was “trying” to happen.
