I watched the whole thing in one sitting and I have to say that was the best documentary I’ve watched in a while! They didn’t miss a single detail when telling the story! I felt as though I knew the how story from being to end and I didn’t have to google anything to find out answers to my questions because I didn’t have a single question by the end of it! While it’s very sad what he did to the animals and to Jun Lin, I feel like it definitely portrays how crazy some people will be just to get a little bit of attention. For anyone who says that Deena and John did the series so they could get more notoriety for their efforts in trying to stop this man obviously didn’t understand the point of them being in the documentary. They were telling their side of the story and how they knew he would kill somebody long before he finally did and how frustrated they were when they tried to go to the police with proof of this man saying he would move on from killing cats to killing humans and they did nothing about it. While I understand that it’s hard for police to make moves in situations like this I feel like they could have done more before the murder happened. I also think they did a great job when it came to “showing” The videos of him killing the cat and the video of Jun Lin. No, they don’t actually show the video but they find a very artistic way of showing the video. That may not make a lot of sense, but it’s definitely something you’re going to have to watch to find out. While heartbreaking it is 100% worth the watch!
