Terrible remake the main character He Man really only makes a Cameo. It's mainly about Teela who becomes the forefront of the show, they take the standard approach of drawing the women with a male physique in order for them to be a "strong woman".
I found that what you did see of Prince Adam was a whiny weak rendition of his former self, many of the male characters are portrayed in a similar vein in order to make the female characters shine.
I found Teela to be a terrible hero who spends half the time focussing on her hurt feelings because someone didn't share a secret with her. Even though the person had just died and the parents were grieving, it became all about her "Feelings".
I really fail to understand why in order to have a strong female character they have to put down the former male characters instead of having them stand on their own. I found this show had no respect for the original material and just the name to get viewers in the door, really reminded me of what Rian Johnson did to Star wars.
