The second departure of fan favorite guitarist John Frusicante made a lot of people skeptical of this album. I know i was one of them. But man oh man this album ROCKS. Josh Klinghoffer is a worthy successor to John. His solos may not be on par with Frusciante's but damn it he nails his materials really well. Arguably John was the soul of the band, improvising his solos on his live performances etc. But the band created some amazing tracks, Flea offers his amazing bass lines as he should. Hits like "Monarchy of Roses" , "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" and "Look Around" proves that Josh is a worthy replacement while "Brendan's Death Song", "Annie Wants a Baby" and "Ethiopia" shows the band's more familiar sound. 8 out 10 honestly, it is a really good album.

Stadium Arcadium is a major creative outburst for the band. Seriously, name one band that has a album with 28 tracks and you can listen without a skip. I thought so, none. "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" (1991) may be their peak, but this album is their prime. Everyone functions perfectly: John Frusciante offers many fun guitar riffs and licks to play and incredible backing vocals, Anthony Kiedis never sounded better, Flea's bass and trumpet skills outshine any bassist, HE IS THE G.O.A.T, Chad Smith's drumming keeps you in the groove, such an amazing drummer. Tracks like "Dani California" , "Snow (Hey Oh)" and "Wet Sand" are the biggest hits by the band. This album offers anything from upbeat songs like "Hump De Bump" , "Charlie" to melancholic ballads like "Strip My Mind" and "She Looks To Me" and "Hard to Concentrate" hits you in the feels whilst tracks like "Torture Me" , "C'mon Girl" and "Especially In Michigan" with "Storm In a Teacup" makes you want to jump around and be free. Personally this album means a lot to me. Liberated my stressed out mind and has been the ol' reliable companion for difficult situations. Never fails to bring a smile on my face. There's a reason for the 21st century Not too sure but i know that it's meant to be And it it's meant to be Red Hot Chili Peppers' era.

In my opinion, this is the best Red Hot Chili Peppers album. Although it is not like "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" (1991), it surely did spice things up. According to many sources, John Frusciante was playing a major role in most of the song writings. And you could hear it in tracks like "Tear", "Midnight" and "Can't Stop". When i say there is no bad tracks, i mean it. You could go all day listening to this album without skipping a single song. Tracks like "Dosed" , "The Zephyr Song" and "Can't Stop" really shows how refined their craft has come since their debut self titled album. 10/10

The very first album that made me fall in love with Red Hot Chili Peppers. John's minimalistic guitar playing, Flea's groovy funky bass lines and Chad's drumming really ties them up as the greatest musicians to walk the earth. And to top it with Anthony Kiedis' vocals? A chef's kiss 10 out of 10 album. Tracks like "Right on Time" , "This Velvet Glove" , "Otherside" and the most energetic song "Get On Top" really shows how they bonded after John Frusciante's return after their time with Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro.
