I was thrilled to see the original version. Then they were incorporate the pancake business which was a Beulah’s family secret recipe. But they want her to sign papers as if doing her a favor giving her 20% of her recipe. Make it make sense. The other woman’s business was maple syrup. Then Beulah doesn’t even want a home of her own but begs the other lady to keep her as the help. In addition, Beulah never wants to have a real conversation about race with her daughter but just coddles the child no discipline equals no respect.

I am not a professional reviewer but I am a real person with a real review. I hadn't heard of the musical but was just in the mood for a movie on a Friday night and gave this one a try. I literally laughed, bopped my head, and even got choked up. Everyone was great and Kerri Washington made me angry but that is the sign of a great actor. Bravo Ryan! It is well worth the watch.

Absolutely amazing and I never imagined I see it. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson could rap they way it should be f course Lin was awesome and I plan to watch again!
