Gintama is a really good anime. However it's only for those who are willing to sit through all the comedy and emotional arc that Gintama has to offer. Each character is appealing and unique in their own way. You might ask yourself where is the action? Where are the superpowers? When does the main character get a power-up? To that I'll answer: Yes, Gintama indeed has its share of incredible action but you have to keep this one thing in mind while watching Gintama. Gintama is not solely the story of Gintoki, it is the story of a whole town, Kabuki-cho, and the story of its inhabitants, their daily life, their sorrows and their happiness. If you will watch Gintama and end up appreciating it...then you have my earned my thanks.
