Epic failure.
This was yet another lump in a string over-polished turds coming out of Hollywood in recent years. Visually it is quite well shot, though the special effects are consistantly terrible on all fronts. 'Practical' effects such as wire-work are laughable, while CGI appears most of the time to have been ripped out of early 2000's TV shows. The plot was complete b.s., and I don't understand how there wasn't anyone around to point out how horribly disjointed, and completely lacking of anything remotely resembling sense, the story is. There are more plot holes than valid story points. The only wonder that has anything to do with this 'film' is that anyone involved with the decisions made here, and the critics who praised it, aren't immediately blacklisted for signing off on it. It is as if none of these people have seen anything other than vapid cartoons to compare it to. Wonder Woman, the character, has taken a serious hit to her credibility, as this movie does for her what the Halle Berry Catwoman did for that character or Arnold Schwarzenegger's version did for Mr. Freeze. DC needs to fire some folks over this, they are really dropping the ball a bit too often to remain viable for much longer. Awful movie, and it does Wonder Woman no justice.
